Series AM provides an initial stae of coalescing filtration to remove particulates as fine as 0.1 microns from compressed air. Applied properly, they can reduce oil carryover to 1 mg/m³ / 0.8 ppm or less (ISO8573-1 class 3 oil carryover.
The legacy series AM mist separators range from 1/8" to 2" and feature a rugged aluminum housing. These coalescing filters are nominally rated at 0.3 micron for an initial stage of oil removal after a particulate filter.
The AM70~90D series of mist separators feature a lightweight stainless steel body for improved ease of handling during service. Flow capabilities are improved beyond the legacy AM series for extended applicability. The AM*-D mist separators are designed for modular connectability and to match the aesthetics of the AC-D series of FRL components.
